I have been in the educational field for over 30 years in a variety of positions: teacher, administrator, professor, always advocating for accessibility, affordability, and quality in early childhood education. When I am not at N& N I am working as a site supervisor for Grand Canyon University or Trainer for ACROSS New Hampshire’s after school programs.
Ryan and his wife Susie have three children: Carson in Kindergarten, Crosby in the toddler room and Clara is in the infant room. Ryan previously served as Secretary and Vice President on the Board. Ryan does research and consulting on Government records, with a focus on Naval and Maritime studies. He looks forward to another year supporting such a great learning Environment.
Lucia and her husband, Ben, have two children; Gavin is in 1st grade in Newmarket, and Lucia is in the Nurture & Nature Preschool room. This is Lucia’s 4th term serving on the Board. She has served as Secretary the previous 2 terms. Lucia is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in private practice with a group in Salem, NH.
Teresa has two children. Morgan is in 5th grade and Mackenzie is in 2nd grade at Newmarket Elementary. Teresa has served on the Board since 2011 and this is her third year as Treasurer. Teresa works in the Finance Department for the Newmarket SAU.
Anne and her husband Brian live in Exeter and have two boys enrolled at Nurture & Nature. Garrett is in the Pre-K room and Sam is in the Toddler room. This is Anne’s first term on the Board, where she will be serving as Secretary. She is an Administrative Assistant for a local Civil Engineering firm, and a Professional Photographer.
Dave and his wife Maria have three children; two Nurture & Nature graduates - Cole (8), and Graham (6), and Elly (4), is in the Pre-K room. Dave has served on the Board for six years in the roles of Officer and Vice President. He has coordinated fire prevention and camping/forest fire safety programs for the Center. Dave is the Chief of the Durham Fire Department, a Licensed Professional Engineer, and consults in the fields of civil engineering, real estate development, construction, and property management.
A Board member for the past 4 years, Kelley served as an Officer for two years then as President 2014-2016. She and her husband live in Newmarket with their daughters Carrigan and Maeve. Carrigan, now in 2nd grade, is a proud Nurture & Nature graduate, and Maeve started at the Center as an infant and recently "graduated" from the Preschool program to full-day Kindergarten in Newmarket. Kelley is a medical sales rep with Grifols Biotherapeutics and is happy to serve as an Officer again this year.
Emily and her husband Bryan have two children who love Nurture & Nature: Rowan (4) is in preschool and Lochlann (1) is in the pretoddler classroom. Emily is a primary care, wound care-certified nurse practitioner working in long term care. When not doing mom-things with the boys, she enjoys ice cream, yoga, and old Friends reruns (sometimes all at the same time).
Heidi and her husband Mike have two daughters, Sofia (pre-K) and Abby May (toddler) at Nurture & Nature. Heidi is a leadership development consultant and coach and is looking forward to being on the board.
